Typoon Ondoy: The Sudden Disaster...

I haven't blogged in a REALLY LONG TIME but my mom insisted I blogged so I could remember everything that happened.

So I woke up around 9 am because I had a dentist appointment at 10. My brother had woken up earlier than me because he had to go to tutor for he had a Chinese test coming up. He ate instant noodles which he loves so much and left.

My mom went with me to fix our condo in the Fort because my sisters and 3 of their friends were planning to go to a party and crashing out at our flat in Fairways. I arrived at the dentist at around 11 and I got to my condo at 1.

We then found out that my brother did not have chinese tutor anymore so my driver was going back home. My mom specifically told the driver not to pass Aurora Blvd. but "being as smart as he was"... he passed it anyway. -.-

They couldn't move anymore so they drove the car to a Caltex station. It was quite elevated so the water did not reach them. All my brother and driver had to eat were some snacks and juice and milk which our maids packed for him. They decided to stay there until the water went down but it just kept rising. My brother fell asleep in the car and when he woke up, water had entered the BMW. Since our car was low, they evacuated it and stayed in a jeepney. There were other people in that Caltex station as well.

At first, the water was only at knee level and the only thing we were concerned about is that my brother wouldn't get wet. But then it reached waist level. So my mom planned for some of our helpers to bring an inflatable raft with them to put my brother on. It was too late, the water raised even more and the water current became stronger. So we were trying to look for a way to get to him. Even though they wouldn't bring him back, at least there would be other people to make sure he was safe.

I'm too tired to blog about the whole thing but the short cut is my mom and I were imagining the worst and we were so SOOOOO stressed and scared. because the driver's phone died. The water rised even more and the building beside it had water reaching the 3rd floor!



But thankfully the water never reached them and my brother was in the jeepney the whole time.

My brother did not eat for 14 hours!!!

This was a tragedy for many people because lives were lost and so far 134 dead 32 missing

When shots of Fox in costume as a prostitute from the comic Western 'Jonah Hex' leaked earlier this year, the two reactions were simply "Wow!" and "Wow, I didn't realize she was that skinny!" As one can imagine, Fox has been getting a lot of attention (and magazine covers) lately, what with the June 22nd release of the eagerly anticipated sequel 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.' In interviews, Fox has once again been emphasizing that the movie belongs to the CGI robots and Bay-tastic explosions, but we're not going to lie: We're pumped to see Fox scooting around on a motorcycle and leaping off buildings in skimpy outfits. If Bumblebee happens to kick the crap out of Megatron, that's just gravy.

A 'Body' to Die For

Following her second showdown with Decepticons, Fox next hits screens on Sept. 18 in 'Jennifer's Body,' a horror-comedy from 'Juno' scribe Diablo Cody. Fox will show her dark side as a demon-possessed high school cheerleader who likes to feast on the flesh of teenaged boys. And, while almost-nude shots (she was wearing pasties) of Fox from the 'Body' set leaked earlier this year, it's hard to complain about the official pics, like the one to the left.

Filipino Mitch Hewer!

Last Saturday, May 16, my friends and I had review class. And as usual, we went to Starbucks again for lunch. Then I saw this guy come in. He had dyed hair. His hair color was brown with dyed red or orange. And he was HOT! When I really saw his face, he looked like a Filipino Mitch Hewer!!! And he was so cute!!! Even when he smiles! GAHH!!! Carla had her brother's camera. And so MYSTERIOUSLY, somoehow it took pictures of the hot guy ;) haha! LOL!

Lasertag Flirting?!?!

I went to Market Market yesterday. Naesa, Mike and I went laser tagging. There were only 2 greens, one of them a staff member, 5 reds and 8 light blues, which we were included in. Then I was in "my corner". The corner I ALWAYS go to. LOL! Then a green guy kept shooting me so I kept shooting him back. Then he went behind me corner. And I got him! YEAH! I shot him a lot actually. It was dark but all I could see was a beanie and I thought he looked mestiso. So I kept shooting and laughing. It was so weird. Was I lasertag flirting?!?! Anyways, I got 8th place cuz me and my brother got THE SAME NUMBER OF POINTS. The red team won. Light blue, second and third green. But the first placer was the guy, HABAGAT. And that was the guy in the beanie. WHO WAS THE STAFF MEMBER!!! @.@ Then when we were leaving, he told my brother "Ang galing ng ate mo." haha. x.X. Teehee. He wasn't that cute but he had the likableness that Danny Gokey has. X.x Gross much? Teehee.

I have no idea why. Danny Gokey has a HUGE likable factor. And as my mom said, "He has such a sweet smile." I really cried the last time he sang in American Idol. Because when he was singing "You Are So Beautiful" I was imagining that he was dedicating it to his wife. TT.TT So sweet!

Natasha Richardson died yesterday :( She was the teacher in Wild Child and the mom in Parent Trap. She died from a skiing accident because she didn't wear a helmet... So always wear a helmet...
